About Us

Searchaprice helps shoppers compare the offer, not just the number.

Searchaprice combines product search and deal tracking with practical editorial guidance. Our goal is to help a shopper identify whether two listings are truly comparable before deciding that one is cheaper.

What Searchaprice does

The website and iPhone app help users search for products, review listings from supported retailers and marketplaces, open the final store page, save a deal, and track a target price. Barcode scanning can provide a faster starting point for an in-store comparison. Search results are candidates for review, not automatic endorsements.

Our buying guide library addresses the details a result list cannot settle on its own: shipping, required accessories, seller identity, product condition, returns, warranty coverage, and the timing of a price drop.

Why it exists

Shopping across several retailers is repetitive, but speed alone can produce a bad comparison. Similar product names can hide different model numbers, capacities, bundles, conditions, and sellers. Searchaprice was created to reduce the repetitive work while keeping the final decision in the shopper’s hands.

We do not sell the products shown in results. Retailers and marketplace sellers control inventory, product descriptions, payment, delivery, returns, and warranties. That separation is why every guide recommends opening and checking the final retailer page.

How the guides are written

The Searchaprice Editorial Team chooses questions that can improve a real buying decision. We write distinct guides with worked examples, reusable checklists, and review dates. We do not create multiple near-identical pages for minor keyword changes, and we do not copy retailer or manufacturer marketing descriptions.

Our reader-first test is simple: an educational guide should still be useful if every commercial link is removed. Read the full editorial and affiliate policy for our standards, corrections process, and separation of sponsored content.

How Searchaprice is supported

Searchaprice may earn revenue from advertising, clearly labeled sponsored placements, and qualifying purchases made through some affiliate links. These relationships help support the service, but they do not purchase rankings in the editorial guide library or change the checks we recommend.

As an Amazon Associate, Searchaprice earns from qualifying purchases. Prices and availability can change after a page or search result is displayed.

Corrections and accountability

Each new guide includes a publication or review date. If you find an error, send the page URL, the statement you believe is incorrect, and supporting information. We review correction requests and update material when the evidence changes the meaning or usefulness of the guide.
